Describe your photography style or words that describe your brand?
Since my roots are in Fashion photography I find that I’m always looking for dramatic imagery with strong shadowing, I like to take what I’ve learned in Fashion photography and adapt it to wedding imagery. I guess it’s a blend between fashion and something else, but there is always fashion in there somewhere!
What is a must read or must see?
A must read is “The Power Of Now” by Eckhart Tolle, It’ll change the way you look at life. Another great read is E=mc2, it sounds way brainier than it actually is; in reality it is a more of a biography of the famous equation.
What are your work hours?
Since I work from home my hours are all over the place, It can range from regular business hours to highly irregular business hours.

What lens could you not live without?
Who needs food? Give me my 70-200 2.8VR!
What workflow tools do you use?
Depending on the number of images in a particular shoot, I’ll use either Bridge or Lightroom.
How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been taking pictures professionally since 2003 mainly fashion. This is my second season as a wedding photographer and I’ve loved every minute of it!
What was your very first job?
This is such a funny question… My fist job ever was at the age of 15 working as a bus boy at Uncle Jim’s Family Italian Restaurant in Miami Florida. I loved that job… the food was amazing!
Most listened to song on your ipod?
It varies from week to week but right now it’s “Strawberry Swing” by none other than COLDPLAY!
What is something you have learned this year?
I’ve learned that off camera strobes don’t have to be big and bulky. With today’s external flashes like the Nikon SB-800 you can get amazing effects without having to lug around a ton of gear.
What is a goal for 2008?
To shoot a minimum of 30 weddings; including at least five destination weddings… I’m well on my way on both counts!
Who inspires you?
Mario Testino, his images are amazing and I find inspiration in his work all the time.
How do you get most of your bookings? What is your primary way of marketing?
Now that I’m on my second wedding season, word of mouth is something that is happening more and more these days and I’m very pleased about that. Otherwise I rely on different types of web-based advertising.
