Looking at how businesses might evolve in the future Sara will introduce you to emerging technologies that relate to the non-location based photographer. She will also talk about web-based services, social networking, utilizing devices, software, and more.
Bio: Sara France
Sara France is an international, award-winning wedding and commercial photographer based in Southern California. Her images have been featured in numerous regional and national publications, including Ceremony Magazine, Modern Bride, San Diego Style Weddings, and San Diego Bride & Groom, and the cover of Studio Photography.
Sara’s work was recently commissioned by Apple, Inc. to promote the latest release of their professional photography management software “Aperture”. The software features a sample wedding provided by Sara as well as online video tutorials. Prior to her involvement with Aperture, her work was featured on small business section of Apple’s website in an article entitled “A Perfect Image”.
An outspoken advocate of using modern technology to enhance photography, Sara frequently speaks on various industry-related topics at venues such as the Pictage Partner Conference. Sara was also instrumental in launching the first-ever community forums and local user groups at Pictage. More recently, Sara has become a “Resident Professor” for PhotographyMentor.com.
Today, Sara’s passion for people and photography, along with her business savvy, have created a powerful foundation for Sara France Photography, Inc., which she privately owns and operates in San Diego .
